My Tools for EuroSplash

Greetings Earthlings:

There's nothing like waiting until the last night to pack your things. Alas, the clutter has organized itself into a compact, portable bag on my floor. Heres the rundown:

So there are a million ways to pack a travel bag. It all depends on the users expectations. My personal mantra is simple. No really, simplicity is my mantra. I want to pack as light as possible and bring only the necessities. I'll make up for having less by using my intellect to improvise and devise new ways of accomplishing what I want.

With that said, I must admit that I was surprised when everything was laid before me. Ok, so maybe I don't feel too comfortable relying on my intellect alone. I would list all the things I brought but its a pretty long list. Besides, a picture is worth a thousand words.

I am pleased to say, however, that the pack fits well on my back and doesn't feel heavy at all. The final weigh in is at 12 kilos or 27 pounds for you gringos out there. Not too shabby considering I'll have all the non-perishable items needed to live in a foreign continent for three months. The real test will come after those three months have passed and I reflect on the utility it provided (or didn't provide.) As they say, the road will provide everything else.

Justin
